Exponent is celebrating our Black scientists and engineers during Black History Month. Their accomplishments and contributions to their disciplines, our firm, clients, and communities are indispensable.

Vashti Campbell, Ph.D., is a Chemical Regulation & Food Safety scientist at Exponent. Dr. Campbell previously conducted research on eliminating foodborne pathogens in seafood through novel processing technologies. She has expertise in food safety, food processing systems, antimicrobial intervention technologies, and sustainability. Dr. Campbell uses her deep knowledge of food process engineering, and love for chemistry and microbiology to help clients make safer food. Her experience in the food manufacturing industry also includes assisting clients in due diligence, good manufacturing practice, risk assessments and various litigation and insurance claim matters.
